Rules

1- One Club Length Rule:

You may move your ball one club length in any direction to get relief.  No nearer to the hole. This does NOT apply to balls in the water, sand traps or out of bounds.  This means if you are in the rough you must stay in the rough, if you’re on the fringe you must stay on the fringe.  This is the honor system.

2- Ball in Water or Out of Bounds off the Tee:

Take a drop where it went out or in.  The "Two from the Tee" rule has been retired.  You may hit a provisional tee shot from the box if you suspect your ball is lost or wet.  However, you are lying 3 if you use the provisional shot.

3- Casual Water: You can move your ball to a dry area:

If it’s in the sand, you can move and place it.

4- Lost Ball or Out of Bounds:

One (1) stroke penalty.  You drop the ball one club length from the spot.

5- Unplayable Lie :

If after one club length you don’t get relief you take a one (1) stroke penalty and put the ball in play at the closest point to the unplayable lie.

6- Putting “Gimmes”:

In the interest of speeding up play any putt that is within the leather of a standard putter is considered good.

7- Winter Rules:

Improving your lie is acceptable.  You can clean and place your ball.

8- Mulligans:

There will be no Mulligans.

9- Provisional Ball:

The provisional tee shot is allowed if you suspect your ball is lost or wet.  You are lying 3 if you can not find your original tee shot.

10- Provisional Mulligans:

There are none.

11- Rulings:

In the event of a dispute everyone can offer their opinion.  At that point, the appointed Judge of the group will decide.  That decision can be appealed to the Director for a final decision.

12- No Cell Phone Rule:

No cell phones will be permitted to be on from the 1st tee through the 18th green.  There will be a two stroke penalty enforced for each use.

13- Maximun Stroke:

The "Double Par Plus Two" Rule has been retired.  What you shoot is what you get.
